Guest blogging gives you the opportunity to help educate and provide information to the broader safety community. We prefer articles to be relatively short (3-5 paragraphs), focused on a topic (something you're passionate about), and not have too much self-promotion in them.
This is not meant to be an outright advertisement of your services. Just about anything related to safety and keeping people safe in their workplace is good subject matter. If you are open to writing on any subject we can always talk about an idea for an article together. We prefer to have the article written in an area of safety that you have expertise.
You will be promoted as the author at the bottom of the post: a small picture, your contact information, and a short bio of you or your company (1 paragraph). The hope is that people get helped by providing a good piece of content, and in return you get some promotion of yourself and your business.
Simple really. Start by contacting Chris Pollock. Contact him through the contact page (select "Safety Network" from the Reasons for Contact list). Send him your contact infromation and let him know that you are interested in becoming a guest blogger. Usually we get things rolling with a couple of emails, and then it's a matter of getting your article and contact information together.
We invite your questions, comments and inquiries. Please use the contact form in the main navigation and select "Safety Network" from the contact list.
