Heavy Weight Safety Harnesses

Heavy weight safety harnesses are safety harnesses that can support 400 lbs. of weight or more. Typically over weight safety harnesses are used in two primary scenarios:

Heavy weight safety harnesses are used when the workers body weight is heavier than 300 lbs.
Heavy weight safety harnesses are used when workers are carrying heavy tools on their body.

It is important to note that the weight that a safety harness supports must include the tools that a person is carrying. So if you weigh 250 lbs. and are carrying 50 lbs. of tools, a heavy weight safety harness may be required. Check individual harness specifications to be sure that your harness will support your entire weight.
