Supports Multiple Workers
One Weightanka system can support one worker in fall arrest or two workers in fall restraint*. The weighted anchor system is modular so that it can be reconfigured to be used with one person or two people. Weightanka keeps your workers protected for short-term maintenance operations such as work with AC units, telecommunications equipment, etc.
The system has been designed to be used with an approved shock-absorbing rope grab and rope along with a full body harness to provide safe access at all times. No part of the Weightanka should be placed closer than 10 ft from the nearest roof edge.
*A fall restraint system will eliminate the possibility of an employee going over the edge of a walking-working surface.
Avoid Costly Damage to Your Roof
The anchor system's non-penetrating design prevents leaks, pooling water, and other potentially expensive roof damage. It doesn't require any structural or engineering attachment, making it a non-invasive roof anchor. The rubber coating encases each base weight with 100 suction cups to maximize grip with the roof membrane.
Durable Components to Last Years
The freestanding rooftop anchor uses industrial strength components to ensure durability. Predominantly made of galvanized steel, the structure is designed to be left on the roof permanently, even in harsh weather conditions*.
As with any fall protection solution, just ensure that the roof anchor system is inspected periodically so that you can safely use Weightanka for years to come.
*Weightanka can be left in harsh conditions, but should not be actively used in harsh conditions. Standing water and ice will eliminate the friction required.
Easy to Assemble with Simple Tools
Installation is quick and easy! An allen key and tommy bar are the only tools needed - and are included in the kit. No special tools or labor are needed. There is no welding, bending, or threading on site.
The system is also easy to deconstruct and reinstall if needed. A single standard weight is made of galvanized steel and weighs 55 lbs, which makes it possible for the entire structure to be moved around as required.
It is really convenient knowing that we always have a non-penetrating anchor point system ready to be used in the field that can be assembled and disassembled by our own guys, quickly, with minimal maintenance and transportation requirements.
