KeeGuard non-penetrating guardrail meets every OSHA standard for rooftop guardrail. This includes the 200 pound load requirement, 42" rail height, and the correct distances often missed when installing rooftop ladder guardrail.
It may surprise you to know that most guardrail kits sold for ladders do not help you achieve full compliance with OSHA. OSHA requires that fall protection is provided within 15' from the edge of the roof. Any six foot ladder guardrail kit is not going to bring your compliance where it needs you to be.

KeeGuard Ladder Guardrail uses fully galvanized steel in all of it's metal components. The pipe is actually gator tubing, which is rolled and seam welded tube that is stronger than Schedule 40 pipe. The Kee Klamp fittings are cast iron and hot dipped galvanized. Galvanization is on the inside and outside of all steel parts.

The Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA) sets the standards for workplace safety. Here are the specific codes that apply to ladder safety
- OSHA 1910.28: Duty to have fall protection and falling objection protection
- 1910.28(b)(1) - This section defines when an unprotected side needs fall protection.
- 1910.29: Fall protection systems and fall object protection - criteria and practices
- 1910.29(b) - This section defines the criteria for any guardrail that is employed for fall protection.
