3-E Safety Services was incorporated into a Limited Liability Company in 2004. Since then the company has expanded from 7 clients to 18 clients with monthly contracts and numerous other one day training and educational support for the construction industries. All of these clients are in various aspects of the construction industry, with a majority of these companies dealing with water and air intrusions in the building with roofing, architectural metal, glass, and mechanical contractors. 3-E Safety Services, LLC started getting involved in water intrusion issues when mold became a larger issue. Owner Cory Rohs, Board Certified Safety Professional, has been in the construction industry most of his life from rehabbing apartment buildings in his teenage years to installing storm windows and doors in the summers of his college years. Five years after graduating from Central Missouri State University Cory started his own company just under his name and then three years latter incorporated into 3-E Safety Services, LLC. 3-E Safety Services performs third party audits and contributes to preconstruction meetings of approximately 50 different construction projects a month. Cory enjoys figuring out issues of concern on projects and coming to an acceptable conclusion for all parties involved. The ability to listen and work through issues of concern regardless of who caused the problem and to look for acceptable solutions is one of Cory’s attributes. “There is no reason to get mad”, Cory says, “The problem has to be fixed so lets look at ways to correct the issue.” Cory Rohs has performed lead inspections, asbestos inspections, mold inspections, general health and safety inspections along with other specific inspections for different clients throughout the mid-west. Cory Rohs became a member of the Air Barrier Association of America in 2010 and looks forward to working with a new base of contractors to ensure building owners are getting what they pay for and to ensure the building is being built to specification.
